Somewhere in between our text messages, our phone calls, our jokes, our laughter, our talks, I fell for you. But I’m afraid somewhere in between us being together, the arguments will start, the crying will occur, the jealousy kicks in, the boredom strikes & we won’t be the way we are now. I like how we’re getting closer, but I’ve seen people get closer just to slowly separate later on. That’s what I’m afraid of cause it’s happened too many times.

Right now, you & someone aren’t on the best terms. You wish you guys can talk but it isn’t happening. So all you’re doing is visiting their social networks often to see if there’s anything new, you’re looking at old conversations from before, whenever you see that (1) in your inbox, you’re hoping it’s them but then you check it & it’s someone else & you’re disappointed. You wanna hit them up so bad, but you hold yourself back. So you wait..

Fuck it, I’m single. I need to be going out & enjoying myself, not mope around at home & stress over someone who isn’t stressing over me, I can’t be missing someone who isn’t missing me back, I can’t be staying home waiting for a text or call back when it ain’t even coming, I can’t be crying myself to sleep & wake up the next day still feeling like shit. I deserve better. Know your worth. Don’t ever let anybody make you feel like you’re not good enough.
